Each mold is part of a numbered unique edition. Every shape is different, and each mold is marked with its own unique number. Once a shape is sold, it is not repeated, unless you request a matching number for replacement or expansion.

The inner working area is approximately 12 cm / 4.7 inches before clay shrinkage, making it suitable for ceramic coasters and small dishes. Most clays shrink around 10–12% during drying and firing, so the final fired piece will usually be smaller than the mold.

Each mold is designed and 3D printed in France by DIY Project Depot from plant-based bioplastic. The molds are lightweight, durable, reusable, and easy to use with stoneware, porcelain, or earthenware clay.

How to Use

Roll out a clay slab, usually around 4–6 mm thick, and place it gently into the mold. Press the clay into the shape so it follows the irregular outline and raised border. Let the clay firm up until it can hold its form, then remove it carefully from the mold.

After demolding, refine the edge, add texture or decoration if desired, dry slowly, bisque fire, glaze, and fire according to your usual ceramic process.

Care Instructions

Clean gently with water and a soft sponge or brush. Let the molds dry fully before storage. Do not place them in a kiln, oven, dishwasher, or near high heat.
