Unlike standard round molds, these organic pottery forms help you create ceramic plates with a natural handmade character while keeping the shape clean, stable, and repeatable in your studio.

Designed and made by DIY Project Depot in France, each mold is 3D printed from plant-based bioplastic and made for practical ceramic use.

Unique numbered designs

Each irregular mold design is unique and marked with its own number. Once a number is sold, it is retired from regular production, so your mold shape remains special.

Designed for slab-built ceramic plates

This irregular slump mold is perfect for making organic ceramic plates, serving trays, small platters, decorative dishes, market-ready pottery collections, and unique tableware sets.

Simply roll out a clay slab, place it into the mold, gently shape it by hand, and let the clay firm up before removing it. No pottery wheel is required.

Easy release and reusable design

Clay naturally shrinks as it dries, helping the plate release from the mold. Depending on your clay body and preferred method, you can use the mold dry, with a thin release layer, or with plastic film.

The mold is reusable, easy to clean, and suitable for repeated studio use.

Important note about clay shrinkage

Please remember that fired clay usually shrinks, often around 8–12% depending on the clay body and firing temperature. Choose a mold slightly larger than your desired final plate size.
