This round slump mold is perfect for making everyday plates, side plates, dinner plates, serving dishes, small platters, and matching ceramic sets. The smooth rounded shape gives your clay pieces a soft handmade look while keeping the form consistent from one plate to another.

Simply roll out a clay slab, place it into the mold, gently shape it by hand, and let the clay firm up before removing it. No pottery wheel is required.

Easy demolding

Clay naturally shrinks as it dries, which helps the plate release from the mold. Depending on your clay and your preferred studio method, you can use the mold dry, with a thin release layer, or with plastic film.

Important note about clay shrinkage

Please remember that fired clay usually shrinks, often around 8–12% depending on the clay body and firing temperature. Choose a mold slightly larger than your desired final plate size.
