Designed for classic ceramic plates
This round slump mold is perfect for making dinner plates, side plates, serving plates, small platters, minimalist tableware, and decorative slab-built ceramic pieces. The simple round shape makes it easy to create matching plate sets while keeping a natural handmade look.
To use it, roll out a clay slab, place it into the mold, gently shape it by hand, and let the clay firm up before removing it.
Easy release and reusable design
Clay naturally shrinks as it dries, helping the plate release from the mold. Depending on your clay body and preferred method, you can use the mold dry, with a thin release layer, or with plastic film.
The mold is easy to clean and suitable for repeated studio use.

Important note about clay shrinkage
Please remember that fired clay usually shrinks, often around 8–12% depending on the clay body and firing temperature. Choose a mold slightly larger than your desired final plate size.
