Collection: Slump molds

A slump mold is used by placing a rolled slab of clay inside the mold so it gently drops into the shape. The clay is then pressed into place, smoothed, and trimmed around the edge, helping you create pieces with clean, consistent outer sides. As the clay dries, it naturally shrinks slightly, which also makes demolding easier once the piece reaches leather-hard stage.
