Create elegant ceramic plates, serving dishes, and slab-built pieces with our Seine clay mold, shaped with a smooth oval silhouette and a gently raised rim. It can be used as a hump mold, drape mold, plate mold, or general pottery slab mold, depending on the forming technique you prefer.

This 3D printed mold is designed to help you achieve clean, repeatable results with less effort, making it easier to produce consistent forms from one piece to the next. It works well both for beginners experimenting with slab-built tableware and for experienced potters creating cohesive collections.

Available in multiple sizes, the Seine mold makes it easy to create matching oval pieces while preserving the same soft and elegant profile across the whole range.

Designed and made in France
Every mold is designed and produced by us at DIY Project Depot in France.

Clay shrinkage note
Please remember that clay shrinks during drying and firing. A typical slab-built clay project often shrinks by around 10–12%, depending on the clay body and firing temperature. If you need a specific final size, be sure to account for shrinkage when selecting the mold diameter.

Helpful extra detail
The bottom of the mold includes the mold name and dimensions, making it easier to identify and organize in your studio.
